Lead Trainer
Jackie Anderson
About the Teacher: Jackie Anderson, a 500 E-RYT yoga teacher, embarked on her transformative yoga journey over two decades ago while in college. Her initial curiosity about the practice quickly blossomed into a lifelong passion, as she sought to deepen her understanding and refine her skills. Jackie’s extensive training includes studying under renowned yoga masters such as Bryan Kest, Garth Hewitt, Tymi Howard, and Steve Ross, among others. Each teacher has influenced her approach, blending a diverse range of styles and philosophies into her practice.
In her classes, Jackie weaves together the art of breath, meditation, and profound spiritual teachings, creating a space where students can explore not only their physical boundaries but also their inner selves. Her commitment to integrating these elements into her practice reflects her belief in yoga as a holistic journey—one that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. Jackie’s approach is rooted in the idea that yoga is more than just a series of postures; it's a path to personal transformation and deeper self-awareness. Through her guidance, students are encouraged to connect with their breath, embrace mindfulness, and cultivate a greater sense of inner peace. She is the sole owner of 2 yoga studios in Florida- KULA YOGA! She has been serving her community for 15 years through yoga.

Our Students Say

"YTT with Jackie was a life changing experience. Not only did I feel prepared to guide a class through the physical postures of yoga (the asana), I also felt empowered to be a better version of myself and show up in life in a more authentic way. Unlike many YTT programs that focus primarily on the physical practice, Happy Place YTT goes deeper and addresses all 8 limbs of yoga practice. One of the things that made a huge change for me was Jackie’s encouragement for each of us to commit to a Yama or niyama to work on during our yoga teaching journey. For me, it was committing to the Yama of aparigraha, or non-hoarding … letting go of things that just weigh us down and keep us buried and stuck. Talk about an eye-opener! I will always see Jackie as “my teacher” and value my YTT as the foundation for the way I now approach all things in life. Six years later, I'm still in love with sharing yoga!"
Tammy Jacques, Class of 2018

The journey to becoming a yoga teacher is a deeply personal and transformative experience. It's remarkable that through the 200RYT online program, I’ve not only honed my skills but also embraced the solitary aspect of the training to develop my unique approach to teaching. The transition from student to teacher is a significant milestone, and Jackie's guidance has been instrumental in my growth. Her support has not only enhanced my teaching abilities but also led me to explore the harmonious world of sound healing. This certification in Therapeutic Sound Healing opens up a new dimension of wellness that I can offer to students, creating a holistic experience that transcends the physical practice of yoga. My gratitude towards Jackie reflects the profound impact a mentor can have, shaping not just my yoga and SHJ career but also my personal evolution. Thank You Jackie!!"
Chris Welch, Online Teacher Training January 2023

"I went through Kula Yoga’s Happy Place Yoga Teacher Training Program in 2019, which was truly life-changing for me. The training gave me the tools to deepen my own personal practice and the confidence to share yoga with others. I'm so grateful for everything I learned from Jackie and for the community that continues to inspire me every day. Teaching at Kula has been such a rewarding journey, and I'm honored to help others find balance and joy through yoga. I highly recommend YTT at Kula! 🌈🤸🙏"
